One of the best things about yoga class is the awareness [1] you develop about your own breath. Particularly during the challenging poses, the instructor will remind us to keep breathing, deeply and regularly. It seems a simple enough act to do, but I am always amazed at how many times the instructor has made that invitation at the exact moment that I seem to have started holding my breath!When the heat starts to get turned up in your life, are you remembering to breathe? Whenever I need a moment to regroup, I'll take a few minutes to breathe deeply and allow my mind to become still. Deep, belly breathing is key to managing stress and bringing you back to center.

Self-esteem might be defined as an individualized approach of all aspects of our lives. This approach might be set on a positive track, or on a negative track. Each direction and how far we go can be considered as valuable indicators of our self-esteem. Whether our level of self-esteem is too low or too high, there are certain strategies that might help us counterbalance any of these two extremes and this way we can re-establish the inner equilibrium. The common risk is subjectivity that can lead us to an exaggerated self-confidence or the other way round, a very low self-esteem.

It is highly recommended to control our emotions and actions and to reassess now and then the way we react when we are exposed to particular circumstances. This way we develop gradually an objective approach of our own behavior. Self-awareness is definitely the key because we stay objective. Being flexible is another technique that can balance the right level of self-esteem. Concentration and motivation stand for essential factors that maintain self-esteem. Act bravely no matter the circumstances, because assuming risks is best way to reach success and every time we experience success, we build up efficiently our self-esteem. Value your strengths and admit your weakness. Life coaching has developed many strategies based upon this approach of personal strengths and weaknesses and the major benefits are visible on personal and social plans.

To sum up, self-esteem governs our actions and implicitly our social relationships, therefore, if we really want to control wisely our level of self-esteem we need to control first our emotions.We all want to reach efficiency simply because we save time or energy and implicitly we improve our level of performance. Usually, performance is connected to our career but we might extend its value to every aspect of our live. However, this performance is influenced by several factors. In essence, these inner factors have a major impact simply because genetic data controls all actions, more precisely the way we perform them. Innate abilities can change significantly our life, but this fact does not mean that we should limit our performance to these indicators.
