The most important recommendation: USE A CARBON MONOXIDE WARNING DETECTOR. As is true of a smoke alarm, reliance on a CO detector is acceptable only if the device is in good working order and is tested periodically as directed by the manufacturer. 2. Inspect your RV’s chassis and generator exhaust system regularly, at least before each outing and after bottoming out or any other incident that could cause damage. 3. Inspect the RV for openings in the floor or sidewalls. If you locate a hole, seal it with a silicone adhesive or have it repaired before using your generator again. 4. Inspect windows, door seals, and weather strips to ensure that they are sealing properly. 5. Yellow flames in propane-burning appliances such as coach heaters, stoves, ovens, and water heaters usually indicate a lack of oxygen.

Determine the cause of this condition and correct it immediately. 6. If applicable, have your built-in vacuum cleaner checked to make sure it does not exhaust under the underside of your RV. Have the system changed if it does. 7. Do not operate your generator if the exhaust system is damaged in any way or if an unusual noise is present. 8. Park your RV so that the exhaust may easily dissipate away from the vehicle. Do not park next to high grass or weeds, snowbanks, buildings, or other obstructions that might prevent exhaust gases from dissipating as they should. 9. Keep in mind that shifting winds may cause exhaust to blow away from the coach one moment and under the coach the next.

10. When stopping for long periods of time, be aware of other vehicles around you, such as tractor-trailers at rest stops, that may have their engines and refrigerators running. 11. Do not sleep with the generator operating.byoungrv.com 12. Leave a roof vent open anytime the generator is running, even during the winter. 13. If you do not feel well, do not be fooled into thinking that it isbecause you have been driving too long, you ate too much, or you are suffering from motion sickness. Shut off the generator and step outside for some fresh air just to be sure.

All Gas appliances in your holiday home should be serviced annually to keep them in a safe and efficient condition (this is a legal requirement in certain circumstances, see sub-letting below). It is vital that appliances are properly services and maintained, however, while this will reduce the risk of CO leaks it will not eliminate all problems that occur between service dates. By tampering with the gas installation/appliance you may put yourself and your family’s life at risk. Gas is very safe in the hands of an expert.parkwayrvcenter.com If you, or your park, sub-let your Caravan holiday home you may be seen as a ‘landlord’ under the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations and thereby face other legal duties. The Regulations place a legal duty on landlords to ensure all gas installations, including the appliances and their flues are maintained in a safe condition. In order to achieve this, the appliances and their flues must be safety checked at intervals of not more than 12 months.

Full-time RVers David and Lynn Cross of Mesa, Az., have taken part in 15 caravans and rallies. These intrepid travelers put more than 95,000 miles on their 2007 41-foot Monaco Executive motor coach, visiting 49 states, 13 Canadian Provinces and Territories, and 32 Mexican States. "We love to visit national and state parks, museums, historical sites and battlefields, state capitals and attend local festivals, picnics and farmers markets around the country," said David Cross, a retired information security specialist. 1.craigslist.org The social interaction is a bonus on caravan trips, with group activities during the day, as well as, social hours in the evening so RVers can interact with other caravanners. "While on trips we made many new friends and really enjoyed the camaraderie these trips have," said Cross.dreamchasersrv.com "That is when we decided that we really wanted to do more of this type of traveling.

These trips allow you to get an overview of the area. 2. All the itinerary arrangements have been planned and made well in advance including events, activities and site reservations. Tour outfitters take care of all the details, leaving nothing but packing left to the participants. Most organized RV outfitters offer expert wagonmasters who know each destination inside and out, and tailgunners who follow the caravan in case someone needs assistance. Participants frequently say that they go to attractions and places they would not have gone on their own. 3. Caravans help ease the fear factor of novice RVers. "We like the idea of a caravan for the safety and security of knowing the tour guides know where to get repairs done, if needed," said Sandi Miles, retire human resources manager.

I wasn't even part of the tour when my son pointed out the RV sitting there in old town Albuquerque. We approached the RV to take pictures of it when we saw the crew, I clouding this super cool dude, eeehm I mean Heisenberg. He was so happy to take pictures with us and invited us to hop onto the RV to check it out! That was so nice of them! We had a great experience and my son is so excited that he made mummy jump around like a crazy lady! Had an awesome time. Our two kids were avid fans and had seen all episodes. After this tour I want to go back and see all five seasons.

The tour guides were entertaining. We hit all the hot spots from the series. In addition to other movie sites were shown. This was the highlight of our trip! We had such a great time! Los pollos Hermanos and took some cool pictures! It was definitely worth every penny for a Breaking Bad fans! You w even win cool prizes for the trivia they do while the tour! Our day was made! The Breaking Bad tour was very enjoyable. We had a great time even though we never watched the show. New to Albuquerque, we got to see the city, the back story of the sets, and simply the sites and sounds of the city.

What was particularly a nice feature is that they would show a snippet of the scene of the show and then seconds later visit the location. Frank was very knowledgeable and made it very worthwhile. If you are a die hard fan, you would thoroughly enjoy this tour! I booked way in advance just to make sure they would not sell out for the particular date I needed. The meet up location is in the historic old town area so you also get to check that out after the tour. Found free parking easily adjacent to the park nearby. Highly recommend this tour!

This tour was fantastic! The guide is a lot of fun. I would highly recommend this tour. Myself and my family had a really great time on this tour! All the major sites from the show Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul seemed to be hit. The only thing you have to know is that because a lot of the locations are actual places of business, or private homes, most of the sites are seen from the shuttle or the RV. The tour guide was great, a local actor who has appeared on several episodes of BCS, and we had the privilege of having the young boy from Breaking Bad, Brock, join us on our tour! Overall was a lot of fun, however you have to be a fan of the show to really get the tour.

Otherwise you're just driving by houses and store fronts! Our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable, both about the show and Albuquerque. We decided to do the tour last minute, and even though they'd just left, they were kind enough to turn around and come back for us! We made multiple stops, including Pinkman's house, the laundromat, Walt's house, the warehouse, the car wash, and of course, Los Pollos Hermanos, where we went in and they provided us all with burritos. During the drive, they play certain scenes that feature the destination being visited, to help jog your memory. You have the choice of going in a bus or the RV.

Even if you take the bus, you'll have the chance to see inside the RV. I'd definitely recommend taking this tour if you're in ABQ for the day! This trip is bad ass from the start to the finish. The RV is amazing. George is a top notch tour guide and Breaking Bad alum. Loved every bit of this. Would do it again in a heart beat. If you are a B.B./B.C.S. MUST. I could list the locations but it's better to just let it unfold for itself. Awesome, amazing, MUST DO. B.B. die hard fan, you will be bored! If you B.B., then you MUST do this! Definitely do this if you are in NM and are a fan BITCH!
