Neil Lennon tipped wanted midfielder Ki Sung Yueng to become Celtic’s first £10million man.youtube.com The Parkhead club raked in £9.5million for Aiden McGeady from Spartak Moscow last season and, with clubs in England, Germany and Italy already tracking the South Korean, Lennon believes he will one day command an even larger sum.youtube.com The 22-year-old has already been picked out by FC Sion coach Laurent Roussey as the danger man in tonight’s Europa League play-off round first leg in Glasgow. ‘I think Ki will get the club a lot of money one day,’ stated the Celtic boss. ‘He is a real asset for the club now, a wonderful footballer. He’s everything you would want in the modern-day midfield player. ‘He is 6ft 2in, a fantastic athlete and very good on the ball under pressure.

‘He is good at passing, excellent with both feet and has a goal in him, as we saw again on Saturday. ‘Unquestionably. I think so. He has turned heads already, but we want to keep our best players as we have said all along. ‘But he is certainly coming into that (£10m) bracket now. With the injured Beram Kayal out of tonight’s game against Swiss outfit Sion, Ki will retain his place after a strong start to the season. The midfielder struck a superb goal in the 5-1 rout of Dundee United on Saturday and Lennon now sees a real attacking option emerging after a less than auspicious start in the Hoops.

‘For his country, Ki has played in that No 10 role and I don’t see why he can’t do that for us, at times,’ enthused the Celtic manager. ‘To be honest, Cha Du-Ri coming to the club helped him a lot. He then had a buddy to hang out with away from the club. ‘His English was good because he spent a lot of time in Australia, but, culturally, these people are totally different from us. They are very polite and humble. I think Cha helped him enormously and Ki has taken his game on. ‘It was interesting when we played at Aberdeen and went to a three midway through the first half. He was actually the player who was making the breaks forward and we hadn’t seen that in his game before. ‘We’d seen him make long breaks, but he was getting in between the midfield and back four and was the most advanced out of himself, Beram Kayal and Joe Ledley.

An IQ is not even a measure of intelligence; it's simply scores your ability to perform for a particular test. To prove my point, you can practice an IQ test and see an improvement in your score. This does not mean you suddenly became an Einstein or will cure cancer. All it means is that your brain is adapting to its environment just like our minds are designed (by nature) to do. To claim that a single test can measure your brain is just asinine and ironically makes you look very unintelligent. That's like saying you can measure someone's athletic ability by testing the strength of their finger.

Someone might be an extremely good baseball player but simultaneously suck at hockey. The same goes for a brain.youtube.com You can be a genius at math but terrible at reading. All the racists love calling me a child, but they desperately cling to outdated pseudoscience like IQ and eugenics. Of course, we all know racists are extremely insecure about themselves and tend to lash out. They only bully minorities since minorities generally don't have protections. It's no different than when 10 cowards ganged up on one random kid in class. I don't know what's more childish than being a grown adult who still bullies people to fill in a missing hole in their personal lives. I get what you are saying. An IQ test gives an indication of your ability to obtain knowledge or solve problems. It can basically tell you if you are "more intelligent" than another group of people who took the same test. I don't know that for sure, I could be wrong. If we measured the average around a group who statistically scored higher, such as Japan or South Korea, most Americans would be dumbtards. But, like everything, it's like a totem pole. The bullies always go for the ones they deem as "less than".

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Chad Kuhl was just happy his team got the win. His manager was thrilled that his right-hander got the credit for it. Kuhl pitched six solid innings to win for the first time since May 6, a span of seven starts, and the Pittsburgh Pirates edged the Cincinnati Reds and Matt Harvey 3-2 on Friday night. The Pirates' last back-to-back wins came on May 16-17 against San Diego, which pushed them a season-high nine games over .500 at 26-17. They have gone 8-18 since and lost eight straight series. Kuhl (5-4) gave up two runs, one earned, and six hits while striking out six and walking three. He allowed no more than three runs in any of his previous four outings.

Pirates manager Clint Hurdle said. The Pirates pulled ahead 3-2 in the sixth on consecutive sacrifice flies by Starling Marte and Colin Moran off reliever Michael Lorenzen. The runs were charged to Harvey (1-5), who was lifted after giving up back-to-back singles to pinch-hitter Elias Diaz and Josh Harrison to start the inning. Harvey allowed three runs on four hits with two strikeouts and two walks. The former New York Mets ace is 1-3 with a 5.09 ERA in seven starts since being traded to Cincinnati on May 8 after being designated for assignment. Wandy Peralta relieved Harvey and hit Corey Dickerson, the only batter he faced, with a pitch.

That left the bases loaded with none out for Lorenzen. Felipe Vazquez held on in the ninth for his 13th save in 17 opportunities. Tucker Barnhart singled with two outs and pinch-runner Billy Hamilton stole second base before Joey Votto struck out swinging. A sacrifice fly by Scooter Gennett in the third inning drew the Reds into a 1-1 tie and they went ahead in the fourth, scoring a run on a throwing error by Kuhl. Kuhl of the first error of his three-year career. Pittsburgh scored the game's first run when Gregory Polanco grounded into a double play in the second inning. The Reds lost despite outhitting the Pirates 7-5. They were 0 for 11 with runners in scoring position and stranded 10 baserunners.

Cincinnati's Jose Peraza had two hits. Pirates infielder Jung Ho Kang has been reinstated from the restricted list and optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis after missing last season and the first part of this year because of visa issues. He received an eight-month suspended prison sentence. 3 million salary. He has already played in 11 minor league games. He was cleared to travel to the U.S.

4.4 million bonus and assigned him to short season Class A West Virginia. He hit .296 with 13 home runs and a .455 on-base percentage in 57 games this year. Reds: RHP Homer Bailey (right knee inflammation) stopped his rehab assignment at Triple-A Louisville. On the disabled list since May 30, Bailey made one start for Louisville and was tagged for five runs in three innings Monday. Pirates: RHP Richard Rodriguez (right shoulder inflammation) is scheduled to pitch a simulated game Saturday. Reds: Luis Castillo (4-7, 5.79 ERA) has lost his last three starts with a 7.47 ERA. Pirates: RHP Ivan Nova (3-5, 4.68) beat the Cubs at Chicago last Sunday in his return from the DL, allowing one run in 5 2/3 innings after being out with a sprained right ring finger. He is 3-7 lifetime against Cincinnati.

Should State Government Subsidize Pro Sports? Throughout the current NFL season, I have remained a die-hard New Orleans Saints fan. But I also have really admired the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are one of the best examples of how a sports franchise should operate. They don’t go to the state capitol hat in hand, looking for a handout. The team is owned by citizen stockholders all over Wisconsin, and the Packers’ management doesn’t regularly try to blackmail public officials into giving more handouts under threat of picking up and moving the franchise. Recently, when it came time for Green Bay to revamp and refurnish legendary Lambeau Field, the state of Wisconsin didn’t put up one penny.

All proceeds to pay for the renovations came from the private sector. 1,400, which fans can pay over several years. In addition, the Packers did a stock offering, just like many corporations do for capital improvements. And finally, the Packers took out a team loan to be repaid out of yearly revenues. No sweetheart deals from the state, no special considerations, no coming to the public trough for taxpayer money. Unlike other professional sports operations, individual teams do not sell television revenues. In baseball, the New York Yankees get broadcasting revenues significantly greater that what a smaller market team like the Kansas City Royals receives. In pro football, every team shares in one gigantic pie. Little Green Bay receives the same television revenues as does a team in New York or Chicago.

The other major factor that lets a small market stay competitive without taxpayer dollars is the National Football League salary cap. Not only is the incoming revenue approximately the same for each team, expenditures are also more or less the same, as each team shares the same parameters as to just how much can be spent on team salaries. This means salary limits, which allows a small market team like Green Bay to stay competitive year after year. 27 million to develop an entertainment district. This would give the team revenues that it would not have to share with other clubs.

It is a business strategy that a number of NFL franchises are undertaking. Yes, the New Orleans Saints are following this diversity approach. But here’s the difference. The Saints get it all paid for by Louisiana taxpayers. 2.6 million in tax breaks. Then there is the agreement for the state to lease office space in a downtown office building adjacent to the SuperDome being purchased by the Saints owners. 24 dollars square foot, which is one of the highest rental rates in the state today.youtube.com So Louisiana taxpayers are basically paying the cost of the building the Saints ownership is buying. "That’s incredible. I‘ve never heard of that one before," said Robert Baade, an economist at Lake Forest University who studies stadium financing.

"There is no end in how creative governments get to supporting subventions. But what about all these projections of how much the economy in New Orleans will be positively impacted, with millions more in tax revenue. 500 million economic impact. 22 million in state revenue. Here’s the fallacy. Any such study assumes that all of the dollars spent at Saints games are dollars that are new to the region’s economy. Most dollars spent on football tickets are dollars that would have been spent on other leisure activities in the area. There are numerous choices as to how to spend leisure dollars. Going to a football game is just one.

The Brookings Institution’s recent 500 page study titled, Sports, Jobs and Taxes, concluded that professional sports teams "realign economic activity within a city’s leisure industry rather than adding to it. The Green Bay Packers are on of America’s great football franchises. But more important, the Packers represent the best of the American free enterprise system.youtube.com They built a championship team by paying their own way without trolling for taxpayer dollars.youtube.com It’s the way a franchise should be run. "The Green Bay packers never lost a football game. Jim Brown’s syndicated column appears each week in numerous newspapers throughout the nation and on websites worldwide. We're off to Brazil! The line-up is complete! We now know all of the 32 nations that will take part in next summer's World Cup finals in Brazil. Uruguay join the 13 European, five South American, five African, four North American and four Asian countries in Brazil after a 0-0 draw in their second-leg qualifier against Jordan, having thumped their opponents 5-0 in the opener. Here, Sportsmail brings you the complete lowdown on all those who have qualified for the tournament. WHO'S GOING TO BRAZIL? Star player: Sofiane Feghouli - Algeria have been crying out for a star for many years, and they may have it in the Valencia winger, impressing the Giants in La Liga despite his side's lowly position.

How they got there: Comfortably qualifying from Group H in qualifying, Algeria - famously holding England at the 2010 World Cup - looked certain for 2014 when they drew Burkina Faso in their play-off match. Things weren't that easy, however, as Burkina Faso won the first-leg 3-2. The homeside turned it around in the return leg, beating the underdogs 1-0 to progress on away goals. Manager: Alejandro Sabella - Former Sheffield United and Leeds United midfielder who was appointed Argentina boss - only his second managerial post - after the team's failure at the 2011 Copa America. Star player: Lionel Messi - Widely considered the most gifted player in the world and rightly so.

His record of 37 international goals in 83 matches pales into insignificance in comparison to his historic scoring feats and honours roll with Barcelona. How they got there: Without Brazil’s presence, Argentina were billed to be the runaway leaders in South America and they didn’t fail to disappoint as Messi’s goals ensured they easily navigated their way to an 11th consecutive appearance. Messi failed to deliver in South Africa, but can he finally star on the biggest stage and end Argentina’s 28-year wait to win a third World Cup? Manager: Ange Postecoglou - Greek who has only recently stepped into the post having recently managed at South Melbourne, Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory.

Star player: Tim Cahill - Box-to-box midfield often converted into a striker with a good goalscoring record. Formerly of Millwall and Everton, now playing in Major League Soccer for the New York Red Bulls. Manager: Marc Wilmots - Former Belgian international playmaker who went to four World Cups and is now overseeing the blossoming of a new golden generation of talent. Star man: Eden Hazard - Quick, creative and energetic winger who has shone for Chelsea since moving to the Premier League last year. Pick of the bunch? Manager: Safet Susic - Former Paris Saint-Germain legend who has now gone one better than Euro 2012's play-off defeat and led Bosnia to their first major tournament. Star man: Edin Dzeko - Manchester City striker who has an excellent international scoring record of 33 goals in 58 games.
